Job Details
There are currently 222 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General) and 38 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR, both under the Reserve Bank of India. Additionally, there are 31 vacancies for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM.

Applicants for RBI Grade B positions in 2024 are required to have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
RBI Grade B 2024 Application Process
To apply for positions in Grade ‘B’ under the Reserve Bank of India, candidates must complete the following steps:
1. Prelims
The preliminary examination will be conducted online and will last for 2 hours. The subjects covered include logic, general awareness, English language, and quantitative aptitude.
2. Mains
The main examination for RBI Grade B positions is divided into two sections: General (DR) Posts. The first section, Economic and Social Issues, consists of a 50% objective test with 30 questions, and a 50% descriptive test with 6 questions, each worth 100 marks. The second section, English (Writing Skills), also includes a descriptive test with 6 questions, each worth 100 marks.
3. Interview
The interview for RBI Grade B positions is a 75-mark test. A psychometric test will be conducted before the interview, but no marks will be awarded for this test, and it will not be a part of the final selection criteria.
Application Fees
The application fees for GEN/OBC candidates are 850 rupees, while SC/ST candidates will pay 100 rupees.
