The test window for pupils in Class 10 was February 15–March 13, and for those in Class 12, it was February 15–April 2.
Results for Class 12 were released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 13. The pass percentage as a whole was 87.98 percent. Up to 16,21,224 students showed up for the CBSE Class 12 exams this year out of the 16,33,730 pupils who registered. 14,26,420 of them were able to pass the tests.
According to PTI, more than 24,000 applicants had scores above 95%, and more than 1.16 lakh received scores above 90%.
Compared to the previous year, the pass percentage rose by 0.65%. Girls passed the exam at a rate of over 91%, outperforming boys by more than 6.40 percentage points.

Use these steps to get access to the CBSE
Class 10 Results and CBSE Class 12 Results for 2024 on DigiLocker:
1. Open the DigiLocker app on your smartphone or go to the DigiLocker website.
2. Log in to your current DigiLocker account or, if you haven’t already, create a new one.
3. Go to the homepage after logging in.
4. Click on the category tab or do a direct search for “CBSE Class 10 Results 2024” or “CBSE Class 12 Results 2024.”
5. Select the appropriate link.
6. Fill up the relevant fields on the newly shown window with the required data.
7. To continue, click the “Submit” button.
8. You can view and download your CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 Result for 2024 from the screen that appears.
How to use SMS to check CBSE Class 10 Results for 2024
Students should write a text message with the format “CBSE10” and send it to the specified number, 7738299899, in order to obtain the CBSE Class 10 results via SMS. They will get a text message shortly with all the information they need to know about their results. It’s crucial to remember that SMS fees can change based on the mobile network operator.
Results of CBSE 2024: Verification Procedure
Students who are unhappy with their grades from the 2024 CBSE 12th exam have the option to have their grades and answer sheet verified. The last day to apply for this service will be announced by the Board. Students are required to complete the online application for mark verification on the students.
The board then goes over the answer sheets again to check for any missing marks, totaling errors, or unanswered questions. Following the reevaluation, students receive the CBSE 12th result 2024 and have the option to obtain a photocopy of the reevaluated result.
How to check the CBSE Board result 2024 via IVRS
Students can use the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) to check the CBSE Class 12 Result 2024 by dialing 24300699, followed by the area code. A fee of 30 paisa per minute will be incurred for each call for a single roll number.
METRIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CBSE BOARD RESULT IN 2024
In order to pass the CBSE board exams, pupils need to fulfill the following requirements:
Obtain at least a 33% grade (better than a “E”) in each of the five topics in the external tests in the exams.
Get at least 33% in both the theoretical and practical components of practical subjects. Students also need to receive an overall grade of at least 33%. If students complete all internal assessment topics with a grade higher than a “E,” they will obtain a pass certificate (unless exempted)
