Odisha Nua-O Scholarship: The Odisha government has made the decision to offer postgraduate and undergraduate students the Nua-O scholarship. Male and female students pursuing higher education will each receive INR 9,000 and INR 10,000, respectively, under this plan. Qualifications for the Odisha Nua-O Scholarship

According to him, the goal of the Nutana Unnata Abhilasha (NUA) Odisha scheme is to provide youngsters with opportunities for ongoing skill development, reskilling, and upskilling. The plan, which has a budget of INR 385 crore for the fiscal years 2023–24 to 2025–26, will cover all 30 districts, giving tribal and isolated areas priority.
According to Pandian, students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programmes in state universities, government- and non-government-aided colleges, including Sanskrit colleges under the Higher Education department, will be eligible for the grant. According to him, students would not be eligible for the scholarship if their parents are either permanent government employees or income tax payers.
Beginning on February 20, the Nua O scholarship will be placed in banks.
On February 20, the qualified students will receive the Nua-O award for the current academic year directly into their bank accounts. According to him, this will mark a new chapter in student empowerment as the CM’s vision of “Nabin Odisha” (New Odisha) comes to pass.
