The Ministry of Education’s standards state that the GATE exam will be weighted at least 70%, with the remaining percentage determined by the candidate’s performance and/or academic record during the test or interview.
Nonetheless, the admissions offices could also establish a minimal score required to pass the exam or interview.
It is recommended that applicants verify with the Ministry of Education all the specifics of the admissions procedure as well as the availability of financing or scholarships from the relevant admissions institutes.
The requirements for postgraduate admission via GATE, along with incentives and grants, differ throughout universities. The postgraduate scholarship or incentive amount is also the admission institution’s duty. Seats will be distributed among the categories in accordance with the admission agency’s policies, guidelines, and Government of India regulations.
If acceptance is approved, the concerned educational institution may additionally indicate how many students will get financial aid or scholarships.
