Qualifications for the DEE LP UP Teacher Hiring Programme
Nationality: Applicants must be Assamese citizens living there permanently.
Age Requirement: As of January 1, 2023, a candidate cannot be less than 18 or older than 40.
Age-Release: The age relaxations for each category, broken down by category, are listed below:

Government Policy on Small Family Norms: As of January 1, 2021, no one would be eligible for appointment if they had more than two living children from a single or many relationships.
Medium of Instruction: Candidates for the ATET and CTET must be proficient in Language-I or Language-II, depending on the school they plan to apply to.
Qualifications for ATET/CTET: Candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for UP or LP are qualified to apply.

Requirements: a 2-year diploma in elementary education (or an equivalent programme) and a senior secondary education programme with at least 50% of the possible points.

Qualifications: Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, B. Ed., D. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Ed. (Special Education)
Instructor of Science (UP)
Qualifications: Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, B. Ed., D. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Sc.
Teacher of Hindi (UP)
Qualification: Earn a two-year elementary education diploma, a B. Ed. or D. Ed. (special education), or a B. Ed. (special education) with Hindi as one of your subjects from a university accredited by the UGC.
