Any woman who is between the ages of 21 and 60 is eligible to receive benefits under the programme. Women who are married, widowed, or divorced are welcome to apply for the programme. The beneficiaries cannot be income taxpayers, and the family’s yearly income cannot exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
Candidates without a specific residential property or plot between the ages of 21 and 60 are considered for the CM Ladli Behna Awas Yojna plan. Women who are not a part of PM Awas Yojna can apply for this programme and be selected.
Advantages of the Ladli Behna Yojana Programme at Various Phases
The registration period began on September 15, 2023, and ended on October 5, 2023.
At Birth:
When a girl is born, families that are part of the Ladli Behna Yojana are given financial support. This early support highlights the value of celebrating the birth of every child, regardless of gender, in an effort to combat the prejudice that exists in society against the birth of a girl.
While at school:
At several points during the girl’s academic career, financial incentives are offered. This fosters an environment where girls can thrive academically by providing scholarships, free textbooks, and other educational tools.
Higher Learning and the Development of Skills:
The Ladli Behna Yojana offers assistance to girls who are seeking further education or vocational training. Financial help and scholarships are frequently offered to enable girls to follow their goals by facilitating their access to high-quality education and chances for skill development.
Adulthood and Marriage:
In certain iterations of the programme, families receive financial support as well throughout the girl’s marriage. This guarantees that the cost of weddings, which is frequently a major worry for families, is lessened.
