Ready, set, go! Our collaboration with Paramount to bring fans the highly anticipated animated feature Transformers One months before its official theatrical debut on September 20th is something we couldn’t be more excited about. There should be more than one theatre hosting this extraordinary advanced showing. Because of that, we’re going coast to coast with this one. Are you all prepared to go to Cybertron, New York and Los Angeles?
Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) directed Transformers: One, a genesis story that transports audiences to a period before Chris Hemsworth’s Orion Pax and Brian Tyree Henry’s D-16 were the names of Optimus Prime and Megatron, respectively. In the time leading up to the Autobots’ and Decepticons’ war, Orion and D-16 were close-knit young bots who were still discovering Cybertron and their place in the universe.

Industrial Light & Magic (Rango), an innovative visual effects company, reverts to animation to build the iconic ’80s bots and the breathtaking Cybertron landscapes that will propel this epic tale to the big screen.
Even though Orion Pax and D-16 are merely custodial bots, they are ambitious and eager to explore the surface for all its treasures. While travelling, the two meet fellow bots Elita-1 (played by Scarlett Johansson) and B-127 (played by Keegan-Michael Key). They band together to defend their home from an intruder after receiving the power to change.
When Orion Pax and D-16 reach a point when their differing views on what is right divide them, they will face a crossroads in their journey. Steve Buscemi, Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne are among the Transformers One cast members.
