Warned: Spoiler Alert! An Unexpected Location Just Dropped a Huge “Deadpool & Wolverine” Easter Egg
Ryan Reynolds’s shirt selection in ‘Wade’s Closet’ could be a clue about what’s to come in Deadpool and Wolverine.
Shirts in the queue have a cowled Wolverine and a deleted Avengers emblem that may indicate more.
Deadpool and Wolverine’s debut in a matter of weeks will usher in “Marvel Jesus,” but a new merchandise line from Homage.com may have hinted at the introduction of a new superteam to the MCU.
Homage aims to provide Deadpool fans with a shirt collection befitting the Merc with a Mouth with the “Threadpool” collection, advertising the shirts as “Maximum effort meets maximum comfort.” There are currently three main parts to the collection, but there’s a fourth called “Wade’s Closet” that has some intriguing new shirts and hints to future items.
You can find two shirts—among many others—in the “Wade’s Closet” collection at the very bottom of Threadpool’s homepage. Ryan Reynolds personally selected each shirt for the collection, which is characterised as apparel that Wade Wilson would wear.
Two shirts are available: one shows an animal Wolverine donning the long-awaited comic book cowl, and the other has the traditional Avengers emblem A, with an anarchy symbol overlaying it. The fact that the item’s description is simply “censored” is even more puzzling. Hmm…
Reynolds has been posting mysterious logo images on social media, which may be a hint that Deadpool and Wolverine are forming a new Marvel team (or at least some villains). We won’t know much about this team—if it exists at all—until the movie comes out. Emma Corrin plays Cassandra Nova, and the members of her team include X-Men movie villains such as Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Pyro, and more.
But it’s a really original concept to have Deadpool pair up with heroes from outside the MCU, like Elektra (Jennifer Garner) or Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). Additionally, there is a “SPOILER” part that displays a coat hanger alone, suggesting that there may be more spoiler-filled shirts to come as we approach the release of Deadpool and Wolverine.
Additional Stunning Shirts from Homage’s Threadpool Sale
The “Deadpool & Wolverine” section, the first of Homage’s vast Threadpool collection, features a variety of classic Deadpool & Wolverine products provided by, as the website puts it, “Mickey’s chequebook.” A “Marvel Jam” shirt featuring Deadpool and Wolverine as video game characters is part of the collection, as are two shirts with the LFG logo and shirts featuring either half of the Deadpool and Wolverine logo locket.

Following that, we have the “Deadpool Noir” line, which claims to bring out your “Fifty Shades of Wade.” There are a total of four shirts in the collection, all of them are grey and black and feature either a Deadpool or Wolverine emblem or a title.

Lastly, the “Classic Cuts” collection is perfect for fans who are seeking a more nostalgic take on Deadpool’s origin story. Some of the designs on these shirts include “Hi, peanut” with a Wolverine claw slashing through it, “Hi, Yukio” (Shioli Kutsuna), the logo for Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls, an ad for Dopinder’s (Karan Soni) taxi service, and a comic cover of “New Mutants #98” (the first comic in which Deadpool appeared).
