2024 OPSC PGT Eligibility Requirements

The following lists the requirements for eligibility, including age and educational background, for the position of Post Graduate Teacher.

Qualifications for Education:

a master’s degree with distinction.
Either a six-year integrated course in the relevant topic or two years of specialised postgraduate coursework.
B.Ed. or an NCTE-recognized equivalent degree (not required for all topics).

Maximum Age:

In order to apply online for the Higher Secondary School post of Post Graduate Teacher, a candidate must be at least 21 years old and no older than 38.
Note: For the reserved, there will be upper age relaxation.
