Academic Background:
If you want to work in engineering or technology, you need a bachelor’s degree (BE, B.Tech, BS, ME, M.Tech, MS, or integrated M.Tech) from a reputable school with a first-class honours or equivalent in your field.
A Ph.D. in Banking and Finance, Accounting and Taxation, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required of candidates applying for Management positions, in addition to a first-class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce.
Applicants to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences are required to hold a Master’s degree in the relevant field from an Indian university or an international institution recognized for its equivalent, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55%.
To be eligible, applicants must have scored well on a UGC or CSIR-administered NET or SLET/SET. The GBU Assistant Professor position does not require the NET/SLET/SET for candidates with a Ph.D.
Applicants must have prior classroom experience; their cumulative score will be doubled annually.
In addition to the aforementioned, candidates should have a track record of research articles published in peer-reviewed journals or journals listed by the UGC. Your chances of being selected for the interview will be enhanced if you have received accolades from the Government of India, international organizations, or state governments.
